Wychbold First and Nursery School has joined the Rivers CofE Multi Academy Trust, following a six month informal working partnership and a successful due diligence process. The Trust is a group of nine ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ schools across Worcestershire which work together to strive for excellence, through sharing best practice and collaborating to improve children’s outcomes.
Claire Howitt, Headteacher at Wychbold said:
“We are delighted to be joining the Rivers Multi-Academy Trust, as the collaboration will bring so many benefits and opportunities to our School and our children. At Wychbold, we passionately believe in developing and nurturing children’s individual strengths and by becoming part of the academy we will have wider network of guidance and support to help us achieve this. Belonging to the academy will also challenge us further as we strive to provide the very highest quality experiences and outcomes for the children.”
Kate Brunt, CEO for Rivers MAT added:
“We are delighted that Wychbold has joined our trust family. Over the past six months we have established some excellent working practices with fantastic results and this announcement formalises our partnership for the future. The children, staff and governors at Wychbold School are simply outstanding and I have no doubt that by continuing to work closely together, we will ensure that every child has an exciting and rewarding education.”
