Recent feedback from our Planning and Teaching for greater depth Years 2-4 held in February 2021 via Microsoft Teams:
"I just want to say what a massive difference the training you gave on the Stone Age Boy sequence of learning has made to the teaching, learning and assessment for my class over the last week and a half. By tweaking my lessons to focus on the question 'How hard was it to survive in the Stone Age?', as well as giving the children some time for oral rehearsal of their explanations, I have noticed amazing progress in the children's history skills and understanding in the short time of making these changes. I've used your questioning techniques to help me identify misconceptions and I love your ideas for making it easier for the children to think hard. I feel like the children have really managed to do this, even from home. "
"Thanks David, I found that really useful, lots to take away from it!"
