Governance
In September 2022 we rolled-out our brand-new, innovative governance structure across the trust. This was designed in direct response to the changing governance needs of multi-academy trusts (in line with our scheme of delegation). The aim was to clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the different governance tiers to avoid duplication, strengthen communication and maximise the skills, knowledge and expertise of everyone within the governance team to benefit our pupils.
Governance structure
Everyone within our governance structure is a committed volunteer who gives freely of their time, knowledge and expertise to raise standards in education and improve outcomes for pupils. These are vital roles that impact significantly on the overall success of our individual schools as well as the wider trust and we are extremely grateful to have them within our Rivers family.
If you would like to establish who the current advocates are for your child’s school, please visit the governance section of your school’s website.
