National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are professional development opportunities for school teachers and leaders.

NPQs can help you to improve your skills and increase your confidence in your role.

We are proud to be the only provider of National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) NPQs in Worcestershire and Sandwell.

As a Founding College for the NIoT, we deliver NPQs in the following areas which are open for expressions of interest for Autumn 2024.

Cost

Funding for NPQs after February 2024 start is yet to be confirmed from the DfE.

What is the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT)?

The National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) is England’s new pioneering institute for teacher and leader training and development. Founded by four of the country’s most respected school trusts, it is run by schools for schools. 

The NIoT has a national reach and local expertise via its regional campuses and Associate College network. You’ll experience national input from Specialist Partners, and training delivered in school by our Excellence Fellows practising teachers and leaders immersed in your context.
