St Peter’s Droitwich CofE Academy celebrated its official 40th birthday at the end of June.

Children and their families attended a morning of celebration, starting with a big draw and picnic.

In the afternoon children and staff attended St Peter's Church for a special service, in which they sang and heard a birthday message from the Bishop of Dudley, who forty years ago visited the school to give a special blessing.

Headteacher Mrs O’Keeffe-Pullan has created a time capsule containing a school jumper, prospectus and order of service to mark the 40th celebrations. The time capsule will be hidden away in the school for the next 40 years.
