School’s out for Cranham Primary School Office Manager
After three decades of fantastic service we’re sad to say goodbye to Mrs Lyn Seymore, Office Manager at Cranham Primary School, Worcester.
During her 33 years, Lyn has seen many changes not least on the technological front. In the early days Lyn could be heard click-clacking away in the school office on a manual typewriter. While more recent changes include the school joining the Rivers CofE Academy Trust in 2016.
Originally taking the role as a stop-gap, Lyn hadn’t planned to spend so long at the school, however her enthusiasm and enjoyment for the role kept her in post. Talking about her time at the school Lyn said ‘Cranham has been such a huge part of my life for many years; it is a very special place … a family. I have so many incredibly happy memories of staff and pupils.’
‘Although sorry to say goodbye I am looking forward to spending more time gardening, travelling and spending time with my two grandsons.’
Head at Cranham Primary, Nick Cale commented ‘Lyn is much more than a work colleague, she has been a close friend of mine for 21 years. We have shared so many happy memories! We will all miss Lyn’s loyalty, wisdom and integrity enormously and wish her a very happy and very long retirement.’
We wish Lyn a long and happy retirement!
