Congratulations to Northwick Manor for winning Primary School of the Year at the Worcestershire Education Awards 2023.

Northwick Manor was one of three finalists in the Primary School of the Year award category alongside North Worcester Primary Academy.

Now in their fifth year, the awards, run by Newsquest and in association with the University of Worcester was held at The Abbey Hotel in Malvern. The awards shine a spotlight on those who continue to make a difference in the field of education.

A number of Rivers staff were recognised as finalists at the awards:

• Aimee Wainwright from Northwick Manor Primary School finalist in the New Teacher of the Year award.
• Emily Calvert from North Worcester Primary Academy finalist in the Headteacher of the Year award.
• Averil Thomas from St Clement's CofE Primary School finalist in the Support Staff of the Year award.
• North Worcester Primary Academy finalist in the Primary School of the Year award.
• Northwick Manor Primary School finalist in the Primary School of the Year award.
