Worcester schools come together to perform in an Early Years Music Festival.
North Worcester Primary Academy was a buzz with excitement as it hosted a festival of music, bringing together 380 reception children from across Worcester.
The event saw participation from Claines Primary School, Northwick Manor Primary School, Whittington Primary School, Cranham Primary School, North Worcester Primary Academy, St. George’s Primary School, St. Barnabas C.E Primary School, and Tudor Grange Primary Academy Perdiswell.
The festival was organised by Severn Arts to encourage children to have fun with music. The theme for this year's festival was ‘All Aboard the Animal Train’. Children came dressed for the occasion as their favourite animals, including tigers, lions, rabbits, and giraffes.
The highlight of the festival was the collective performance of six animal-themed songs, which the children had practised in class.
The festival not only showcased the children’s singing but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration among the participating schools. It was a morning of celebration, learning, and most importantly, fun!
Staff commented on how brilliant it was to hear the songs they had worked on being performed by so many children.
