The Rivers Teaching Alliance, School Direct Programme offers a school-centred route to teaching. Trainee teachers learn day to day in the classroom alongside experienced teachers.

 

The Rivers Teaching Alliance has offered teacher training since 2016. Since then, 89 trainees have completed training with us and we have recruited 22 trainee teachers from the programme to join the Rivers family.

 

Our School Direct programme provides school experience and placement to support a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education) with QTS awarded by the University of Worcester.

 

Applications for full-time training starting September 2022 is now open. We encourage all applications to be in by end of June. 

Applications for part-time training starting January 2023 (lasting 18 months) will open soon.
