Work has started to expand the ‘in-demand’ pre-school at North Worcester Primary Academy. 

Situated off the Droitwich Road, North Worcester Primary Academy opened its doors for the first time in September 2019 as a brand-new build and since then demand for places at the on-site pre-school have significantly increased. 

Original plans for the school offered a single pre-school class of 26 places, however, due to growing requests for pre-school places at the school, they have already added an additional class taking capacity to 50 places.

Pre-school pupils are currently utilising a large key stage 1 classroom, which is free whilst the school grows to reach its full potential of 420 pupils over the next few years.  

 
An investment of over £150,000 for the new pre-school extension will provide a spacious open-plan classroom with direct access to a secure outdoor learning area.

The pre-school offers full-time and flexible childcare for three and four-year-old children for 50 weeks of the year, closing only for bank holidays and during the Christmas break. 

Children attending the pre-school can expect high-quality care and education focused on learning through play, with access to the school’s vibrant learning space, extensive grounds and state-of-the-art learning resources.

The pre-school at North Worcester Primary Academy is part of a growing family of new and existing schools, nurseries and pre-schools within the Rivers CofE Academy Trust. The Trust specialise in primary and early years provision with 15 good and outstanding settings and a thriving teaching alliance.

Building work on the North Worcester Primary Academy Pre-school is due to be completed in the Autumn term 2021.
