Wychbold celebrates Ofsted outcome
Congratulations to everyone at Wychbold First and Nursery School for continuing to be a ‘Good’ school.
The school received a Section 8 inspection over 2 days in October, to check whether the school continues to be ‘Good’ and whether safeguarding is effective.
The Ofsted inspector was particularly impressed with the behaviour of the children, the wider curriculum and the way in which children’s safety is paramount to all staff.
The report began by acknowledging our STARS values and how these were at the heart of the school. ‘Pupils know and understand why these values are important in life. One pupil explained, ‘STARS is about sharing thoughts and ideas and having respect for each other.’
The school has recently gone through a period of change with Rebecca Wilks being appointed as the Head of the School. The ‘Good’ outcome is a testament to the hard work, commitment and dedication of all the staff and pupils and the collaborative support of the trust family.
Rebecca Wilks, Head of School said “I am excited about continuing on this journey and driving the school forward”.
