Sport for all – collaboration at work

Pupils from a variety of schools from the Rivers CofE Multi Academy Trust came together on the 4th January for a fantastic day of sport, with the help and support from King’s, Worcester.

Children from the Trust’s schools were able to take part in a swimming event and use the sports hall at King’s, Worcester to compete in a dodgeball tournament. Many of the children were nervous at the start of the day but by the end of the afternoon, the children had all made new friends and enjoyed the experience immensely.

This was the first venture where the academy liaised with the independent sector to continue to widen the opportunities that they offer their children.
