Northwick Manor pupils visit to a sustainable centre
Reception pupils at Northwick Manor Primary School went on an inspiring trip to Bishops Wood a sustainable centre in Stourport-on-Severn. The grounds are home to a large pond and several outdoor learning areas with natural wood and willow sculptures.
Pupils learnt about insects, plants and animals in their natural environment. On returning to school the children used clay to make their own mini beasts and discussed facts they have learnt.
It is great to see pupils learning about the environment and how to protect it. Learning which is rooted in our vision ‘to teach children to love learn live as a global citizen in an ever-changing world’.
