Festival of Music
Over 450 pupils from the Rivers CofE Multi Academy Trust family of schools came together on the Thursday 13th July for the second annual Festival of Music.
Children aged 7-11 sang their hearts out at an open air music concert held in King’s Sports Field in Worcester. Each school performed their own chosen song, as well as joining together in a 450 voice choir for six additional songs. Parents and guests were invited to bring along a picnic and watch their children perform. The children all made new friends and enjoyed the experience immensely.
Kate Brunt, CEO of Rivers stated “At Rivers we understand that our parents want more than just academic achievement. Our values and ethos allows us, as a trust, to give our children the right tools and confidence to prepare them for the next stage of their life. This festival of music is a great confidence developer and I am so proud of each pupil for singing so well on a very big stage!”
“We would like to thank King’s for allowing us the use of their sport’s field and also a big thank you to Bransford Trust, Gtech and Mazak who supported this event, which resulted in a thoroughly fun and rewarding day.“
Rivers is proud of the opportunities for its pupils and is delighted to work closely with the independent sector to continue to widen the opportunities that they offer their children.
