What a year!
What a year this has been! I want to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff who have continued to work in school and at home to ensure that our children receive the best experience possible, our amazing parents and carers who have supported their children’s home learning throughout, our pupils themselves who have remained positive and focused despite the uncertainty around them and our members, trustees, SIB members and MAT central team who continue to support the trust so ably. It is thanks to your collective hard work and commitment that over 75% of our eligible children have returned to school this term – well above the national average. I have been overwhelmed by the strength of our community during this challenging time and I am extremely proud of what we have achieved together.
This week marks the end of primary school for some of our pupils. I wish all children, families and staff leaving our Rivers family every success and happiness for the future. Goodbye and good luck to you all – we will miss you!
Finally, I wish you all a well-earned break over the summer; I hope that you will have some time to relax and switch off from the stresses of life before we see each other again in September.
Stay safe and stay in touch,
