Our science curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity and help every child understand the important role science plays in the world around them.

Pupils build knowledge and skills step by step from the early years through to Year 6, beginning with exploring the natural world and developing into confident young scientists who can ask questions, investigate and draw evidence-based conclusions.

We place a strong emphasis on “working scientifically”, ensuring children learn how to observe, test, measure and communicate their findings with increasing accuracy and independence as they grow.

Our curriculum covers key areas of biology, chemistry and physics, such as living things, materials, forces and space, while also making meaningful links to real-world issues, including sustainability and caring for our planet.

By the time pupils leave us, they have not only developed secure scientific knowledge but also the curiosity, resilience and critical thinking needed to understand and contribute to an ever-changing world.
