We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team and make a real difference every day.
In this role, you will support pupils in developing literacy and numeracy skills and help them make progress across all subject areas. You will work with pupils individually or in small groups and provide support for children with special educational needs, encouraging their independence as learners. You will also help pupils understand instructions, motivate them to behave well and promote self-esteem through praise and encouragement.
Alongside supporting pupils, you will work closely with teachers by recording pupil progress, assisting with planning and evaluation and helping prepare materials for lessons.
