      As an HLTA, you’ll complement the professional work of teachers by planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes under an agreed system of supervision. You’ll also monitor progress, assess achievement and contribute to pupils’ development.

      • Support pupils by assessing needs, implementing Individual Education Plans, and promoting inclusion and independence.
      • Work closely with teachers to plan and evaluate lessons, manage resources, and provide accurate feedback on pupil progress.
      • Take responsibility for a specialist area and/or manage other teaching assistants, including training and appraisal.

      We’re looking for someone who:

      • Has detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support learning.
      • Can build productive relationships with pupils and set high expectations.
      • Is organised, proactive, and committed to helping every child succeed.
