Vision and Values

Our mission

Our mission encapsulates both what we do as a trust every day and the ambition we have for our whole community. Our mission embraces the character, purpose and future direction of our trust. It defines what we do and why we do it:

Extraordinary Education, Extraordinary People, Extraordinary Futures

The repetition of the word ‘extraordinary’ conveys our ambition to be bold and out of the ordinary in our thinking, in the education we provide and in the expectations we have for pupils and staff to be the best they can be now and in the future. Our guiding purpose is to provide an extraordinary education for every pupil.

Our vision

The mission is supported by our vision statement, which sets out how this mission is realised:

Through an extraordinary education, we empower pupils to be life-long learners and see their limitless potential. Respectful relationships and an unwavering focus on discovering talents and interests enable pupils to flourish and be extraordinary people. Together, we spark aspiration and drive achievement so that pupils contribute positively to society and to their extraordinary futures in an ever-changing world.

Our ethos and values

We are a family of schools with a Christian ethos. We have Church of England and community schools, welcoming families from all faiths and no faith, but together we are guided by our mission, vision and values. Whilst each school’s ethos and distinctive features are celebrated within our collaborative community, we are united by our STARS values. These are the characteristics and behaviours that we ALL share.

Our STARS values:

Sharing

We believe in the power of collaboration and community. Our pupils are encouraged to share their ideas, resources, and time to support one another, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork.

Trust

Trust is the cornerstone of our relationships. We foster an environment where pupils feel safe and supported, knowing they can rely on their peers and teachers.

Achievement

We celebrate every achievement, big or small. Our focus is on personal growth and academic excellence, ensuring that each child is motivated to strive for their best.

Respect

Respect for oneself, others, and the environment is paramount. We teach our pupils to value diversity and practice kindness, creating a harmonious and respectful school community.

Safety

The safety and well-being of our pupils is our top priority. We maintain a secure and supportive atmosphere where children can learn and grow with confidence.
