Excitement is building across The Rivers CofE Academy Trust as we prepare for the return of one of our most popular and creative events of the year — the Rivers Box Car Rally 2026.

Following the huge success of last year’s rally, pupils and staff are already gearing up for what promises to be our biggest and most action‑packed event yet. Over the coming weeks, pupils will be busy sketching ideas, gathering materials and forming their racing teams in readiness for a spectacular day of engineering, teamwork and fun.

This year’s rally will challenge pupils to push their imagination even further, designing and building their own box cars before taking to the track for an unforgettable race day. The event offers an incredible opportunity for children to develop problem‑solving skills, collaborate with their peers and experience the joy of bringing their creative ideas to life.
