Making the Ordinary Extraordinary Art Project

Pupils from across our schools teamed up with the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust to create stunning nature-inspired art.

As part of a collaborative art project in association with the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust (WWT), pupils from each school have created nature-inspired art. The art project, titled Making the Ordinary Extraordinary, aimed to connect pupils with nature through creative activities.

After workshops with WWT at Lower Smite Farm, selected pupils became 'Little Printing Leaders' and, with their art leads, taught printing techniques to peers in school, resulting in unique artworks for each school.

Art created by the 'Little Printing Leaders' during the WWT workshops has been transformed into a sculptural installation by the WWT and is now on display at The Hive library, Worcester, from 8 to 26 July.
