Accessibility Statement for The Rivers C of E Academy Trust

The Rivers C of E Academy Trust is committed to making its website accessible, under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Measures to Support Accessibility

Known Limitations

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  2. Certain text elements have low contrast against their background.
  3. Some parts of the website cannot be navigated using a keyboard.
  4. Some forms lack proper labels.
  5. Some links do not have descriptive text.
  6. PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software.
  7. Some issues with ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) roles.

We are working with our website provider to improve these areas of our website, to make it accessible for all.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

Live video streams do not currently have captions. Live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.

While we aim for full accessibility, some third-party content may not be fully compatible.
