Louise is an Associate Lecturer at Worcester University, an assistant maths hub lead locally and also works as an independent teacher educator.
Louise spent the majority of her teaching career in inner London and the East of England working in both primary and secondary settings. In addition to this, Louise also worked as a mathematics researcher for the Department for Education, which provided her with a rich insight into government policy and curriculum design. Her academic research analyses models of teacher education, with a particular focus on mathematics pedagogy. Louise has worked closely with mathematics publishers and has written publications supporting teacher development. Early in her career, Louise was the joint founder and managing director of an academic publishing company employing 20 staff and freelancers.
Louise is an experienced educational leader who is looking forward to using her experiences to support the Rivers CofE Academy Trust.
