Jasen has worked in primary school education for over twenty years, as a teacher (Advanced Skills Teacher), senior leader, governor and founding director of The Rivers CofE Multi-Academy Trust. He has a breadth of coaching experience in a wide range of educational settings with a reputation for empowering teachers and leaders to succeed, often in challenging situations.
Having gained a Masters in Learning and Teaching at the University of Oxford, Jasen is now preparing to study for a PhD in Education and Applied Linguistics; he has an enthusiasm for supporting practitioners to connect with research in dynamic and innovative ways.
During his career, Jasen has been fortunate to collaborate with teams of talented and dedicated colleagues and, together, they have made a positive difference to school communities, supporting both teachers and their pupils to flourish and achieve. He is fascinated by global education, frequently coaching in New Zealand primary schools to co-construct innovative curriculum design.
