Anti Bullying Poster Winners
Artwork Finalists Help to Make a Point About Bullying
Pupils from schools in The Rivers CofE Academy Trust participated in Anti Bullying week by creating posters to explore issues around bullying.
The competition allowed children across the trust to develop a wider knowledge of issues such as bullying. The children really enjoyed taking part in the competitions and learning how to express this topic through art. All entries were judged by Kate Brunt, CEO for Rivers Trust.
Catherine Atkinson, Rivers’ School Improvement Executive stated that “A key part of my role is helping schools within our academy trust, as well as wider, develop links between staff, children and communities. The Anti Bullying message is so important across our communities and this competition has given our children a chance to explore issues around this in creative ways and summarise them in a poster to spread the message. They can see how working together can tackle such issues.”
